The Baltimore Ravens ended the Pittsburgh Steelers unbeaten streak, the St. Louis Rams lay tied a-top of the NFC West and the Kansas City Chiefs are the last remaining team that are unbeaten.
Such are the surprises of the National Football League.

Things I Noticed This Week:
- I may be one of the few to say this, despite being 3-1 and a field goal away from being 4-0, the New Orleans Saints are in trouble this year and look more like the team from 2008 than last season of 2009.
- I always love it when the Indianapolis Colts lose, but it's even sweeter when it's a flipping 59 yard field goal. The Colts are 0-2 against divisional teams this year.
- I am really liking the play of William Gay as the Steelers nickle back this season. He's played great and he had 2 big goal line deflections in the loss to the Ravens.
- My favorite rookie Earl Thomas is vastly improving that horrendous Seahawks defense, I wouldn't be surprised if he picked up Rookie of the Year honors.

Seahawks' safety doing big things
When was the last time the Seattle Seahawks last had a distinctive ballhawking safety back deep.
It takes you a while to figure out it was Darryl Williams, back in 1999. It played for Miami (FL) in college and was drafted in the 1st round. A similar build to Thomas and a similar style to play, it looks like the Seahawks have found their next Williams, or better the next line of Thomas'.
Thomas who was drafted out of the first round by a famous college known for it's great secondary players just's adds up the similarities even more.
It's uncanny to be precise. But Thomas is making a far bigger impact in his first few games than what Williams did in Cincinnati as a rookie free safety.
Thomas picked off Brett Favre in the pre-season and returned it some 80 yards for a touchdown and in his latest showing he picked off Philip Rivers. Twice, in just his third career start for the Seattle Seahawks.
It turns out those two interceptions were game deciders. Thomas with his elusive speed early in the fourth quarter intercepted Rivers and sped down the field 34 yards to the Chargers 11 yard line, if that wasn't sweet for what Seattle is going to get for the better part of a decade he clinched the game with six seconds left picking Rivers off again, just in the Seahawks endzone that gave them a 27-20 win over who some crowned as pre-season super-bowl favorites.
"A fantastic catch" said Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll on the first interception that led to a field goal to give them a 20-12 lead.
It clearly wasn't enough, even though the defense struggled, Thomas put the icing on the cake with the endzone interception. Well it was almost an endzone interception, but if Thomas had not jumped and picked off the ball, the Seahawks would of lost the game with what had been a 17-0 lead.
"He’s just going to get better and better" said Pete Carroll on Thomas, and the Seahawks defense.
The Seahawks may be giving up 383.3 yards per game, but with the addition of Earl Thomas on the defense, quarterbacks are struggling to throw the ball and are acquiring just a 80.6 quarterback passer rating.
Last season the Seahawks allowed a quarterback rating of 93.4, and a year before that 96.0.

Jets' CB Revis out vs. Bills
New York Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis is listed as "Officially" out against the Buffalo Bills this weekend.
The Jets haven't had the best start to the season, losing their best defensive player, losing the opening game and besides a boastful team, they haven't looked that great either.
Revis told media yesterday "I'm not playing, I'd be playing if I were 100%, but I'm not." Without Revis, the Jets defense has struggled, they rank 20th in league in allowing 336.3 yards per game. The starting left cornerback position will be filled by Antonio Cromartie, but it's unclear yet who will start on the right hand-side, most likely first round rookie Kyle Wilson.
The Bills are coming into the game with the 32nd ranked offense, last in the league.

Week 4 Predictions
NEW YORK JETS at BUFFALO BILLS
I'm liking the Jets to win this one 24-21, but I wouldn't be surprised to see the Bills win this one, the Jets are the most over-rated team with the exception of the Dallas Cowboys.
CINCINNATI BENGALS at CLEVELAND BROWNS
I'm going with the Bengals in a 28-17 win, I wouldn't be surprised to see them "Bungle" it away and lose to the Browns just like the Ravens almost did, nothing is ever gauranteed in this league, well, some things.
BALTIMORE RAVENS at PITTSBURGH STEELERS
I'm going to go with the Steelers 13-6, I don't expect the Ravens to win this one even with Charlie Batch at quarterback, regardless of who is playing, these are always close games and the home team usually wins.
DENVER BRONCOS at TENNESSEE TITANS
I think the Titans will just edge this one out 24-23, Chris Johnson may get another 100 yard game, Orton may throw for 300 yards but when it's all said and done, the Broncos will commit a turnover or two that lead to a Tennessee win.
DETROIT LIONS at GREEN BAY PACKERS
Green Bay will probably rout the Lions at least 31-13, but the Lions are getting better, maybe at least until the 2012 season the Lions won't be vying for a play-off spot.
SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS at ATLANTA FALCONS
I don't see what's so special about the 49ers this season and the Falcons are going to hand them their fourth straight loss of the season with a 27-12 win, due to Alex Smith's mistakes... paging Ryan Mallet's agent in April.
CAROLINA PANTHERS at NEW ORLEANS SAINTS
Are you series? New Orleans wins 28-10. The Panthers are bad this season, the run game hasn't been great, they have been one dimensional because their quarterbacks are poor, Clausen has a long way to go in skill and experience before he starts to create some havoc.
SEATTLE SEAHAWKS at ST. LOUIS RAMS
The Rams are rebuilding, the Seahawks are rebuilding but are going to win this one 26-13. I like the Rams but they just don't have the firepower to overcome a weaker team, but I may be wrong.
INDIANAPOLIS COLTS at JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS
Are you kidding me, is this another game that's blacked out on t.v.'s, I haven't even checked but I know the Colts will take this one 38-21.
HOUSTON TEXANS at OAKLAND RAIDERS
Any chance the Texans had at becoming the team of Texas, they pissed it away with a poor performence against the Dallas Cowboys, they dropped about 10 places in my power rankings, they're looking inconsistent this year, but regardless they will take this one 31-17.
WASHINGTON REDSKINS at PHILADELPHIA EAGLES
I expect a Eagles offense powered by Vick to put a lot of points on the Redskins, Eagles win 27-21. McNabb has a good game, but Vick has the spotlight on him, and yet again delivers another dazzling performence.
ARIZONA CARDINALS at SAN DIEGO CHARGERS
Laugh. Out. Loud. That's what I think of this game. A Steelers wannabe vs. a disastrous G.M. controlled team, but the Chargers will win in this ugly un-epic battle 24-10.
CHICAGO BEARS at NEW YORK GIANTS
Run Devin Run!!!!!!! The Bears offense needs to rid itself of it's sluggish behavior in the win over the Packers, they're going to have to do a lot better, but they reach 4-0 with a 21-17 win over the G-Men.
NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS at MIAMI DOLPHINS
Another great match-up... which probably ends in a Patriots win, if only their defense was in-sync and their coach stopped cheating (joke), maybe things could look up... But they will with this 31-28 monday night thriller.
Week 3 Power Rankings
Finally the New Orleans Saints were able to lose a game, the Chicago Bears upset the Green Bay Packers and the Pittsburgh Steelers are still clinging on to their unbeaten record without their best player.
But for me the most surprising game was Baltimore's 24-17 win over the Cleveland Browns, it wasn't surprising that the Ravens won, but how the Browns fought to the death and ran all over the Ravens defense.

Around the NFL Week 4 - Thursday
Week Four News
- Cowboys rookie wide receiver Dez Byrant was pranked by veteran Roy Williams with a $55K dinner bill. Ouch... I wonder if Bryant wishes he had carried Williams' pads during training camp.
- Ex Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb hopes that he is cheered when he returns to face Philadelphia at the weekend.
- There are some great rivalries headlining Week 4, but the biggest is between the Ravens-Steelers, make sure to watch it as it's going to be a great one even without suspended superstar Ben Roethlisberger.
- I felt like posting this, it's a great picture from week 3 of the NFL season.

Things I Noticed This Week:
- Chris Johnson is not the best running back in the NFL, Adrian Peterson, In my opinion is the most well rounded back when he doesn't fumble the ball away.
- Mike Wallace is going to be the best wide receiver of the 2009 NFL wide receiver corps, when Ben Roethlisberger get's back, he could have a big season. He just has velociraptor speed and when he get's behind secondaries, he's gonna phone home.
- The Baltimore Ravens are all hype this season. They haven't impressed me one bit, they're so called "High Octane" offense hasn't really shown up and they played good against the Browns, but it is the Browns. Where is this 500 yards per game and 40 points per game totals I have heard from Raven fans. They just managed to get out their stadium with a close win against the Browns.
- Every time I hear "Carson Palmer is a great quarterback" I want to laugh and throw up at the same time. Palmer can't even get it done against the Carolina Panthers and that's a jailable offense, consider that Jimmy Clausen bailed the Palmer out with a win. Again, just like the Ravens, they're high powered offense has done nothing this season... Still waiting.
- I love Dexter McCluster, man that players can play ball, he's going to be a great player for the next couple of years and I just like his variety in his abilities. How can you not love that the San Francisco 49ers have gone 0-3, whilst the Kansas City Chiefs are 3-0? One answer. Bye Bye play-offs San Diego Chargers if the Chiefs keep piling up the wins.

Steelers' have NFL's best defense
According to espn.com the Steelers "are far and away the best defense in the league right now." said Williamson and added "I don't even know who's No. 2."
I couldn't agree more with their points and analysis, that defense is looking like the defense of 2008 which ranked #3 of all-time in their top 10 list, despite being two years older.
The Steelers are #1 in allowing points (10.0ppg), #6 in yards per game (266.5ypg) and are leading the league in turnovers with seven.
The Steelers were written off all offseason and pre-season with their starting two time super bowl champion quarterback was accused of rape chargers that led to a four game suspension.
But the defense has fought back and have put the Steelers into a position in which they will probably go (3-0) to start the season.
Buccaneers' safety Jackson suspended for the season
Tampa Bay Buccaneers safety Tanard Jackson has been suspended by the NFL for the duration of the 2010 season for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy.
The Buccaneers rejuvenated defense suffered a big blow as it's free safety hole now has a big gaping hole. Jackson despite missing four games last season for violating the substance abuse policy still recorded five interceptions, returned two of them back for touchdowns and tallied 71 tackles.
General Manager Mark Dominik told local media"Obviously, it's frustrating and disappointing for everybody."
Last year Jackson said "I definitely felt I let my team down, I disappointed myself, but your actions affect others around you, and that's one thing that hit home."
Maybe this time it will hit his head and he can remain clean in future seasons, if he still remains employed by the Buccanners next season.
Giants' Jacobs fined 10K for helmet throw
New York Giants running back Brandon Jacobs was fined $10000 for his helmet throw in the 38-14 loss to the Indianapolis Colts.
During the third quarter Jacobs removed his helmet and threw it in extreme frustration, although he aimed it downwards to hit the ground but it mysteriously ended up in the Indianapolis crowd.
Nobody was injured in the tantrum, but the fan did not want to give it back, Jacobs ended up getting the helmet back but was fined a few days later by the NFL.
Jacobs issued an apology and said“I want to apologize one more time for accidentally tossing my helmet in the stands, It was something that happened because I was frustrated with the game, and I had no business tossing my helmet in the first place.”
Jacobs name has now circulated in trade talks despite signing a four year $25 million contract in February 2009. Jacobs now tells media he is in the "right frame of mind."

Michael Vick is the new top dawg in Philadelphia
Just days after head coach Andy Reid told local media that Kolb is the starter, he changed his mind and will now start Michael Vick in this weekends game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Reid told the media yesterday "When someone is playing at the level Michael Vick is playing, you have to give him an opportunity, this isn't about Kevin Kolb's play. You're talking about Michael Vick as one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL right now."
Kevin Kolb, the ex- starter of the Philadelphia Eagles is disappointed but remains optimistic about regaining the top dawg position in Philadelphia.
But he's going to have to fight it away from Vick, not in a ring, but on a football field. Kolb still believes he has a bright future in Philadelphia.
I don't think so, and neither will Michael Vick, after he puts some big numbers on the board against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Two And Done Already?
Just two games into his Oakland Raider career, Jason Campbell has already been benched in favor for Bruce Gradkowski.
It didn't take long for the Raiders to bench him, this just comes after months of Al Davis counting on Campbell being the next Jim Plunkett.
It looks like Campbell won't be leading the Raiders team to the Super Bowl this year, and that's if the team even reaches the playoffs.

Tom Brady: We Just Sucked
Usually the cry-baby in this situation would be Randy Moss, but for this post game press-conference, the main man, one of the greatest quarterbacks ever to play in Tom Brady told reporters after the 28-14 loss to the Jets "We just sucked."
"Um yeah, we just couldn't do anything in the second half" said Brady. He added more "We had a hard time gaining yards, we didn't do anything on third downs, we couldn't convert anything on first or second, and now we couldn't run it or throw it."
He climaxed with "We Just Sucked." Tough words from a Quarterback that is usually cool after a loss which comes rare after going 38-10 in the last 3 of the 4 NFL seasons he has been healthy.
What is Devin Hesters role in Chicago?
Once known as the leagues best special teams returner in his first two seasons, he made big-play highlights and statistics that could of easily labeled him as a the greatest returner of all time.
Since 2007 (his last special teams touchdown) he has somewhat dissapeared from being the leagues best returner.
Not to his fault, maybe to the head coach who is trying to convert the former college defensive back into a NFL premium wide receiver. He has all the help with Jay Cutler throwing the football to him and after being shut down in Detroit, and having a big touchdown catch against Dallas, I ask myself, does Devin Hester need to give up his return duties?
Despite Jay Cutler torching the Lions secondary for over 370 yards, Hester caught just one reception for 17 yards.
Hester told reporters "He broke open" a few times but was not targeted whilst he got downfield. He lobbied for more balls to be thrown his way against the Dallas Cowboys.
And he didn't dissapoint, at least not Chicago Bear fans when he caught a nine yard one handed touchdown in the back of the endzone to put the Bears up 17-14 in the 2nd quarter. The Bears went on to win 27-20 to send the Cowboys to (0-2) whilst they improved to (2-0), for the first time since the 2006 super bowl losing season.
Hester hasn't performed amazingly on special teams since the 2007 season and with the arrival of Mike Martz and the emergence of Jay Cutler, Hester might need to forgo his returns and improve on his wide receiver abilities.
Despite Edwards DUI, set to play against the Dolphins
If the New York Jets could get any more negative media display, enter Braylon Edwards attempt at doing just that.
He's pretty good at getting the bad boy image with his arrests in Cleveland. But this time he was caught having a need for speed whilst drunk in the city of New York.
Edwards was pulled over by Police for originally having tinted windows in his Range Rover, the Police smelled a strong scent of alcohol, took tests on the Jets wide receiver who blew 0.16, twice the legal limit.
Jets General Manager Mike Tannenbaum told the associated press that Braylon Edwards will play against the Miami Dolphins sunday night, but won't start and it's up to head coach Rex Ryan on how much playing time he receives.
Edwards was in and out of Police custody sometime yesterday and returned to the Jets practise field this morning.
Edwards was with two present Jet players in the vehicle, and following the arrest that went public, anonymous players have back stabbed Edwards for his stupid behavior and ex Jets safety Kerry Rhodes let his thoughts known on his twitter account.
This national negativity isn't doing the Jets any good, just a week ago they were involved with being inapproriate to Mexican news reporter Ines Sainz.
Week 2 Power Rankings
After watching the majority of the games this past weekend, I have complied a top 20 power ranking of my opinion and choice.
Not every team can obviously squeak into the ranking, but I did my best to find the best teams in the nation.
There were a lot of surprises from the Dallas Cowboys going (0-2) to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers improving to (2-0), but as always, teams are never complete so early into the season.
1. Green Bay Packers
2. Houston Texans
3. New Orleans Saints
4. Pittsburgh Steelers
5. Indianapolis Colts
6. Miami Dolphins
7. New England Patriots
8. New York Jets
9. Cincinnati Bengals
10. San Diego Chargers
11. Baltimore Ravens
12. Atlanta Falcons
13. Minnesota Vikings
14. Philadelphia Eagles
15. Tennessee Titans
16. San Francisco 49ers
17. Washington Redskins
18. Chicago Bears
19. Kansas City Chiefs
20. Dallas Cowboys
Obviously some teams are on the list who are winless (Dallas Cowboys) and some teams have been left off the list despite not losing a game yet (Tampa Bay Buccaneers.)

Broncos' Kenny McKinley found dead
Nothing is ever sader than an NFL player tragically dying, unfortunatley this past monday, another Denver Broncos player died.
Kenny McKinley, 23, drafted in last years NFL draft by the Denver Broncos, initial reports indicated that McKinley died from self-inflicted gunshot wounds.
Later reports now show that he might not of died from suicide, per USATODAY.com, coach McDaniels emotionaly addressed the media a few hours ago, and tried hard to hold back the tears.
McDaniels told the local media "He's been the same person every time we see him. Liked junk food and chips and things like that, He was in the cafeteria, or in the training room, when we were seeing him the last so many weeks here. Nothing that would alarm us to anything like this."
The coach further added that there will be a minute of silence in this weekends game against the Indianapolis Colts, players will wear number decals on the their helmets, and his locker will remain for at least the rest of the season.
McKinley is the latest of Denver Broncos to die, Darraet Williams was shot in a drive-by on the 1st of January 2007 and Damien Nash collapsed and died in a charity basketball tournament way back in 2004.
It's definitley a sad day for the Denver Broncos organization, and my condolences go out to the families and others involved.
South Carolina coach Steve Spurrier told the media certainly one of my all time favorite players."

Jets' Darrelle Revis expected to miss 1-2 weeks
Even though the brash Jets' got their big win over the New England Patriots yesterday, they lost their best defensive player in shut-down cornerback Darrelle Revis.
Revis had a knack of shutting down the best of receivers last season, but after getting burned by Randy Moss on a 30 yard or so touchdown, he quickly grabbed his leg and limped off the field.
ESPN New York's Rich Cimini has reported that Revis may miss a few weeks of the NFL season. Revis agitated his hamstring and will leave either Antonio Cromartie, Kyle Wilson or Dwight Lowery to cover one of the NFL's best wide receivers -- Brandon Marshall.
Marshall somewhere is smiling who will play the New York Jets next week and so is Randy Moss who was called a "slouch" by Revis this offseason, but later burns him for a touchdown just in yesterdays loss to the Jets.
Personally, I think Revis is faking it, it sure seemed so on the play, but right now Moss is back in the fight 2-1, and if Revis doesn't further injure himself again will resume the rivalry December 6th.
Mike Vick as a starter in Philly? Not so quick.
Cutting through the grass in his sharply cut new cleats, Vick evaded defender after defender and dived for the first down.
Michael Vick still showed the National Football League that he is still the shit that got him a 10 year $130M deal contract before being convicted of dog fighting and sent to jail for 2 years a couple of years back.
Vick threw for over 280 yards and added 40 more through the ground game in the 35-32 win over the Detroit Lions.
He also passed for 2 touchdowns and did not throw or commit a single turnover, something that was a rarity in his infamous stint as an Atlanta Falcon.
After that dazzling performence by Michael, there is now a quarterback controversy in Philadelphia. Vick assured reporters that this is "Kolbs team."
Kevin Kolb did not have a great game during week 1 after suffering a concussion and a lot of Philadelphia have questioned him being the starter at all.
A lot want Michael Vick as the quarterback and soon to be NFL Hall of Famer Deion Sanders agrees.
And I agree too, but will Andy Reid when Kevin Kolb returns to full health?
DeAngelo Hall get's mad... (Calm it Bro)
Washington Redskins cornerback DeAngelo Hall is getting mad...
On the Washington's beat writer twitter page (Ryan O'Halloran) DeAngelo unleashed some emotional words.
"From here on out, I’m going to wherever the fucking ball is going. Where ever the receiver is going, that’s where the fuck I’m going."Whether DeAngelo get's fined for his outburst, he still want's to cover the best wide receiver on the opposite side of the field.
The Redskins blew a 17 point lead that led to their chances of going 2-0 all washed away when Matt Schaub conected with Andre Johnson in the endzone with just over 2 minutes remaning in the game.
The Texans passed for 497 yards and later won the game in over-time, Hall says it's "My team, My defense."
Regardless of covered who, 497 passing yards is totally unacceptable and the Redskins need some fixing up in the secondary, but the changes won't come from DeAngelo Hall.
Lol it will come from Mike Shanahan and Jim Haslett.

Winners and Losers of Week 2
Winners
Steelers defense: All I can say is wow, man what a game Hall of Famer Dick Lebeau coached, it shows how lucky the NFL is to have such a legendary play-caller. That defense played lights out today, they looked like the 2008 record setting defense, they are easily the best defense in the league right now.
Jay Cutler: I thoroughly enjoyed the performence of Jay Cutler, Cutler threw for 277 yards and three touchdowns, it was a nice display from a quarterback that showed us little last season.
Rookie Returns: Man Antonio Brown had an awesome 89 yard return in his first professional game in the NFL, his first touch. Dez Bryant also had a dazzling 62 yard punt return. Golden Tate had a few good returns, overall those two performences were awesome. Definitley winners.
Clay Matthews: Even though he played against the Buffalo Bills, Matthews picked up his second consecutive 3 sack game of the season, he leads the NFL with 6 sacks overall, he could be a really good football player in a few years time.
Losers
Chris Johnson: Even though the Steelers defense is great, and played magnificantly against the Tennessee Titans, Johnson gave up, he kept getting hit, even though the Titans hold the majority of most plays (also in Raiders and Seahawks game) he managed just to get 33 yards. How's that "I want a rating higher than 99" ego going now Chris?
Joe Flacco: Seriously you throw almost 40 times, completed less than 50% of those throws and force four interceptions, I'm glad I threw you off my fantasy football team, you sucked badly today.
Dallas Cowboys: When you have Super Bowl aspirations and you start out 0-2, it's not the way you wanted to go, especially against teams like the Chicago Bears and the Washington Redskins, but such is the life in the NFL and the Cowboys need to climb a mountain to get back into a positive record.
Joe Flacco is over-rated
Yesterday I don't think I have ever seen such a bad quarterback performence, okay, maybe Mark Sanchez's game against the Buffalo Bills last year.
But the difference between the two was that Sanchez was a rookie, and Joe Flacco who is now in his third NFL season, was suppose to have this "breakout" year.
He played disastrous yesterday in the 15-10 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. No more excuses, Joe Flacco in my opinion will never be the game breaking NFL quarterback.
He's never going to win the big game, countless times I have watched him, to no avail he just does not change my mind about what I think of him.
Sure he might rebound next week against the Cleveland Browns, but after that he's going to face a Steelers defence he has typically not fared well against, especially when healthy and has this to deal with.
And what do I think of the Baltimore Ravens, they're an over-rated team, I think this is all garbage about how great a team they are.
With that so called "EXPLOSIVE" offense, they have scored just 20 points in 2 games (10ppg), a fourth string led quarterback for the Steelers have averaged 17 points per game.
When I watched the Cincinnati-Baltimore game, I watched someone who couldn't make the big throws, he forced throws everywhere, Offensive Co-Ordinator Cam Cameron just had the wrong calls for him to make the entire game. Oh how I could go on. But I won't to save many Baltimore Raven fans from commiting suicide.
Pitty to those Ravens, I don't think they will be going to Dallas in February -- especially with a Joe Flacco led offense.

Week 2 Key Inactive List
The best games of week 2
PITTSBURGH STEELERS at TENNESSEE TITANS
Venue: LP Field
Prediction: 14-13 Tennessee
Interesting Fact: Steelers are 12-3 against Tennessee in september, but are 0-3 in the last visits to Tennessee.
How the Steelers will win: By containing Chris Johnson and forcing Vince Young to throw the ball against a stout defense, they will also need to play great defense for sixty minutes.
How the Titans will win: Fending off Rashard Mendenhall, unleashing Chris Johnson and playing the better defense.
I'm predicting the Tennessee Titans to win this one, not from the soles of Chris Johnson, but the hands of Dennis Dixon.
NEW ENGLAND at NEW YORK
Venue: New Meadowlands Stadium
Prediction: 31-13 New England
Interesting Fact: The series is deadlocked at 50-50-1 in the all-time series, interesting huh, I think that's the only series that is tied up after a durable amount of games.
How the Patriots will win: I'm expecting Randy Moss to get back into the Revis-Moss series by closing the gap to 2-1. But Moss won't be the key, it's going to be Wes Welker, and I like his chances against an over-rated Antonio Cromartie who cant tackle.
How the Jets will win: Depending on how "Revis Island" does against Randy Moss, it's going to be Cromartie and Kyle Wilson's job at containing Wes Welker and the dangerous air game of the New England Patriots.
I do think New England wins this, regardless that it's in New York, who cares anyway they're 10-14 at home in the last 3 regular seasons.
NEW YORK at INDIANAPOLIS
Venue: Lucus Oil Stadium
Prediction: 30-21 Indianapolis
Interesting Fact: The Indianapolis Colts may have the best regular season record of 128-49 (.723) in the past 10 years but have made the super bowl just twice, winning one and choking one away.
How the Giants will win: The Giants will win if they get back to their roots of the 2007 and 2008 philosophy: Running the football and playing smash mouth football. The Colts were porus against the run last week, now they face a bigger back in Brandon Jacobs, and they're without Bob Sanders.
How the Colts will win: I don't believe the Colts will start 0-2, but if they do, goodbye playoffs and maybe Jim Caldwell can get fired, taken off the bandwagon with all those fans (who now reside in New Orleans, Louisiana.) If Peyton can distribute the ball around well and the Colts can CONTAIN the run game, they should come out with a win.
NEW ORLEANS at SAN FRANCISCO
Venue: Candlestick Park
Prediction: 24-10 New Orleans
Interesting Fact: The 49ers are 4-0 in four straight seasons in week 2 of the regular season, they haven't been beaten since the ass whoopin' the Eagles gave them back in 2005, will New Orleans break the record and give them another ass whooping?
How the 49ers will win: By limiting their mistakes on the offensive side of the ball, too many pick sixes last week and they did not relish their chances on the goal-line, they need to play some smash-mouth football against the Saints in order to win.
How the Saints will win: By doing what they do best: Throwing the football, we know that Patrick Willis and his disciples will contain the run game, but they will find it hard to contain the air game.

Riddle Me This (Week 2)
Will losing Kris Jenkins make the Jets defense more vulnerable? The New York Jets lost one of their best defensive players in nose tackle Kris Jenkins. For the second straight season the four time pro bowler tore his anterior cruciate ligament and will end his season. He has played just seven times in what will now be the past 48 games.
Can Dennis Dixon lead the Steelers to another victory? The athletic quarterback so far put the Steelers in a good position by winning the first game of the season... He didn't play lights out, he didn't play well enough to win most games, but he played well enough to win this game.
How far can the Cleveland Browns go without Jake Delhomme? Seneca Wallace is set to make his first start as a Cleveland Brown whilst Delhomme nurses an ankle injury. In the next six games the Browns face the Bengals, Ravens, Steelers and the defending Super Bowl champion the New Orleans Saints.
How will the San Francisco 49ers respond after a thorough beating by those Hawks? If the 49ers schedule can get any easier after a beating by one of the worst teams in the league after a poor showing they now host the defending NFC and Super Bowl champion the New Orleans Saints. Will Alex Smith throw a ton of turnovers, will Frank Gore get the run game going?
How will Darrelle Revis fair against Randy Moss? After holding out for training camp and pretty much the entire pre-season Revis has been hobbling around this past week with a sore leg. Will he be fully fit against an agitated Randy Moss? Will Randy bring the score to 2-1 this weekend?
If Vick plays well, wins well and acts well -- Can Kolb ever get the starting job back? After Vick's performence against the Packers, a lot of people have jumped back onto the ex Virginia Tech quarterback's bandwagon. If Vick can win, will Kolb ever get the starting job back?
Week 2 Predictions
BUFFALO at GREEN BAY
Who I got: Green Bay. Even though I thought the Bills were going to get slammed last week, they probably will this week against one of the most hyped teams of the offseason.
Behind Rodgers cannon of an arm and Buffalo's not so great offense, the Packers will not neccessarily pile up the points, but if they put some numbers up quick, don't expect the Bills to get back into the game with a-hem... Trent Edwards.
Green Bay wins, 31-17.
MIAMI at MINNESOTA
Who I got: Minnesota. I never quite get the hype that the Miami Dolphins have around Chad Henne, at least Bill Parcells agrees with me.
Minnesota didn't really show me anything against the New Orleans defense last week, but I still have them to beat the Miami Dolphins, I think both teams are over-rated, but moreso Miami, simply because the Vikings have the better team, It could go either way, but I think the Vikings will get their season rollin' with a win tomorrow.
Minnesota wins, 21-14
KANSAS CITY at CLEVELAND
Who I got: Kansas City. I'm not ready to ride the bus with the Kansas City Chiefs just yet, the Chargers are always over-rated, and constantly perform poor at the beginning of each season, it's kinda traditional for them to start 5-7 in september. Record is from the 2007-2010 september month season.
Putting that aside, I do think the Chiefs will start 2-0, both are not the best of teams, both had top 10 draft picks the last few years, both are now currently rebuilding, but the Chiefs have the better roster, who knows they could clinch the AFC West for the first time in about 8 seasons, but there going to have to beat better teams than Cleveland to show me that they can do that.
Kansas City wins, 17-12.
CHICAGO at DALLAS
Who I got: Dallas. I'm someone that never rides the "Dallas are super bowl favorites each year" story at the beginning of either the pre or regular season.
Dallas didn't have a good game last week, even if there was a controversial holding call, the Cowboys should of at least won by a 2 score game, I'm expecting them to whoop the Bears who were also involved with a last second controversial call last weekend.
Dallas wins, 24-16.
ARIZONA at ATLANTA
Who I got: Atlanta. Let's just face it, the Arizona Cardinals are going to have a piss poor season despite edging out the lowly St. Louis Rams 17-13. Winning by just a 4 point margain against a team that went just 1-15 last year is not a good sign.
Throw in the departures of Kurt Warner, Anquan Boldin and Antrel Rolle and you have got yourself a situation.
I'm expecting the Falcons to at least get the ground game going, they couldn't against a strong defensive effort by Pittsburgh, but against the Cardinals, it shouldn't be a big problem, more like a situation.
Atlanta wins, 27-13.
TAMPA BAY at CAROLINA
Who I got: Carolina. Both teams looked poor last week, throw in some concussions and poor defenses, expect the Panthers to pound the rock and DeAngelo to pile up a whole lot of yardage.
I don't think Matt Moore will be a great quarterback in the NFL, He had his five game fame, now they are just waiting anxiously for the development of quarterback Jimmy Clausen. Despite no real good quarterback, the Panthers will win with their elite run game.
Carolina wins, 17-10.
PHILADELPHIA at DETROIT
Who I got: Philadelphia. Had Kevin Kolb not been owned against the Packers, I would of been tempted to have picked Detroit for the upset. But luckily for Philadelphia they have Michael Vick who looked like his old-self.
The Lions will struggle to contain Vick who looked good last week, he also looked far more accurate than before his prison stint. It could be a long week for the Lions if they don't fend of Michael Vick's vicious attacks. (p.s. side note: I have that dog breed, it's a rhodesian ridgeback, #justsayin')
Philadelphia wins, 29-19.
BALTIMORE at CINCINNATI
Who I got: Cincinnati. Despite the Bengals bungling a opportunity to send a message out to the rest of the NFL that they are for real, for a second season, they showcased a pile of shit that nobody wanted to see. A shorter, less complex and criminal answer: They got their asses whooped!
The Ravens to my mind, did not look good either despite picking up the win. Their offense struggled to finish drives against the Jets (yes they have good defense, but with that offense, no more excuses.)
What do I think the Bengals will do this game? They're going to come out and give it their all, only 13% of teams from the past couple of years have reached the playoffs are a 0-2 start. That's not a good number, I like the Bengals chances, simply because they will need and want to win.
Cincinnati wins, 17-14.
PITTSBURGH at TENNESSEE
Who I got: Tennessee. Probably one of the most anticipating games of the early season. Riddle me this: Will CJ get his 13th consecutive 100 yard run game (14 is the record) against a team that rarely gives up a 100 yard rusher? Will the Steelers defense stay true to their 2008 form (one of the best in history) and stop Chris Johnson and send the the Steelers home with a 2-0 record?
Those answers will be answered in just over 28 hours time. I'm going with a Tennessee win based off defensive turnovers, but Chris Johnson won't get his 100 yard run game.
Tennessee wins, 14-13.
SEATTLE at DENVER
Who I got: Seattle. I don't think any of these teams are good, infact I think both teams again will have a top 10 pick, and figure me this, Seattle will make the playoffs even though they would of had a top 10 pick based of their regular season record.
The Denver Broncos, they looked good last year until good teams kicked their asses (Baltimore, Pittsburgh) consecutively and from there they went downhill. The Seahawks will win this from Kyle Orton errors.
Seattle wins, 18-15.
ST. LOUIS at OAKLAND
Who I got: Oakland. Is there a more boring game this weekend than this putrid match-up? I don't think so, I don't even know what to say.
Steven Jackson will probably have a good game, as will... Exactly. I can't think of anybody else that could put on a show, both teams are boring, apart from the aforementioned player.
Oakland wins, 21-7.
HOUSTON at WASHINGTON
Who I got: Houston. If their was ever a better game I have watched the Colts lose, it can't of come much better last week when Arian Foster ran all over that shitty Colts defense.
Oh wait... it comes closely behind Super Bowl XLIV & a few other blow-outs that got a coach crying. If without Donovan McNabb (Redskins, QUESTIONABLE???) and a weak secondary, look for Matt Schaub to have a great day.
Houston wins, 28-14.
NEW ENGLAND at NEW YORK
Who I got: New England. All this bravado talk, all this talk about how great this team was, it finally was silenced when their offense put on a shitty-ass showing against a Baltimore defense that was without half of it's secondary.
Great way to send a message out to the league about how your going to dominate the season and win the Super Bowl (which is less than five months away.) Go fuck yourself Rex, Tom Terrific and those cheatin' Patriots are comin' to town and are going to brush you aside.
Really, that is what's going to happen. New England's offense has just too much firepower for the New York defense to handle.
New England wins, 31-13.
JACKSONVILLE at SAN DIEGO
Who I got: San Diego. A few words... B-O-R-I-N-G. Will anybody actually watch this game. The Chargers' unruly such loyal fans have hopped onto the Texans' wagon, nobody watches the Jaguars anyway.
Despite looking quite dull against the Chiefs, I expect Phillip Rivers to come back and get the win, it wasn't his fault that his cry-baby antics were on national television when they had an embarrasing loss to the Chiefs. But his arm and skill will make up for his tears.
San Diego wins, 27-20.
NEW YORK at INDIANAPOLIS
Who I got: Indianapolis. HA HA HA, that's exactly what I loved about last weekend. The Colts lost. Hater in the building, not really, I'd like to call myself more of a realist.
It's about time someone tried to oppose and dethrone the Colts from atop of the division. That day might come, this will be an all-out attack in the Manning Bowl, V.2.
Expect both Eli and Peyton to have bigger games, more expected from the latter, but that's what you get for being the G.O.A.T.
NEW ORLEANS at SAN FRANCISCO
Who I got: NAWLIN'S. New Orleans looked like a complete team from last week's win over the Vikings. Their defense looked good, their offense, not really, but you can tell they will be good over the due course of the season.
San Francisco showed me nothing last week, they couldn't get into the endzone, they could of been 21-0 up so so early, but due to Alex Smith, who is at the helms of quarterback... they failed miserably. I don't expect the 49ers to win this game, they missed out on a 1-0 start. They will now have to wait until next week to get their first win of the season.
New Orleans, 24-10.
Who I got: Green Bay. Even though I thought the Bills were going to get slammed last week, they probably will this week against one of the most hyped teams of the offseason.
